PC PAL will participate in the 17th Congress of the International Society for the Study of Growth and Clinical Auxology (ISGA), taking place in Loughborough, UK, from 22–24 June 2026. This year’s congress will be held jointly with the Society for the Study of Human Biology (SSHB), bringing together leading researchers and clinicians working in childhood growth, development and paediatric health.
Founded in the 1950s, ISGA promotes the study of human growth and development by providing an international forum where experts can share research, clinical experience
This year’s programme will explore the relationship between genetics (the genome) and the wide range of environmental factors (the exposome) that influence childhood growth and development. These topics are increasingly important for clinicians seeking to improve the assessment and management of growth disorders and other developmental conditions.
PC PAL regularly attends ISGA meetings to ensure that the latest scientific evidence informs the ongoing development of GrowthXP, its paediatric growth charting and visualisation platform. GrowthXP supports clinicians by providing advanced growth charts and decision-support tools that integrate with leading patient record systems, including Altera (Sunrise®), EPIC and Oracle Health (Cerner).
According to PC PAL Founder Jani Söderhäll: “The ISGA Congress is a unique opportunity to engage with world-leading experts in childhood growth and development. The insights shared at this meeting help strengthen the scientific foundations of GrowthXP and support best practice in paediatric growth charting and the management of growth-related conditions.”
